A nationally recognized academic medical organization in the Bronx, New York, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Diagnostic Radiologist to join its Emergency Radiology division as an academic faculty member.
The Emergency Radiology team includes six radiologists and provides comprehensive imaging services in a high-acuity academic environment. This opportunity offers a structured schedule, competitive compensation, academic appointment, and comprehensive benefits.
Schedule- Approximately 122 shifts per year
- One week on followed by two weeks off
- Overnight coverage with two radiologists on duty
- 10-hour shifts, including weekdays and weekends
- Collaboration with a night-float resident
- 24/7 CT, ultrasound, and MRI technologist support
- Full-time and part-time opportunities available
- Part-time option of approximately 61 shifts per year
The selected physician will interpret a broad range of emergency imaging studies, including:
- CT, including body and neuroimaging
- Ultrasound
- Radiographs
- Emergency imaging across a broad range of clinical presentations
- Neuro MRI, with experience considered a plus
No procedural responsibilities are required. Nuclear medicine and mammography interpretation are not required for this position.
Qualifications- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
- Eligible for medical licensure in New York
- Fellowship training preferred in Emergency Radiology, Neuroradiology, or Body Radiology
- Strong emergency imaging skills and clinical judgment
- Ability to work effectively in an academic and multidisciplinary environment
