Description Application Deadline: 1 October 2026 Date of Issue: 18 September 2026 ++Vacancy Notification Circular No. HKIC260933++ Rank : Audiology Technician I Department / Hospital / Cluster : Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery / Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital / Hong Kong Island Cluster Pay : HK$53,737 to HK$88,971 (HGPS Point 22 to 33) per month including Monthly Allowance Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance. ++Key Responsibilities++ Take charge of the audiometric testing and hearing aid services of the department. Conduct hearing tests and recommend hearing aids for the hearing impaired. Assist in conducting free-field hearing tests. Provide on-the-job training to junior staff. Perform duties as assigned by supervisors. ++Entry Requirements++ A certificate of audiology technicians’ training course from an institution recognised by the British Association of Audiology Technicians or the British Society of Audiology; or equivalent. A certificate of qualifying examinations from the British Association of Audiology Technicians or the British Society of Audiology (Audiology Technicians Group); or equivalent. 2 years’ experience as an Audiology Technician. ++Preferred Attributes++ Fluency in written English and Chinese as well as spoken English and Cantonese.
