Job Summary Provides pre-hospital Advanced Life Support Care as prescribed by Departmental and Hospital policies and procedures as well as the New Jersey State Department of Health MICU regulations. Job Details Department: Mobile ICU Location: Englewood, NJ Status: Full Time Shift: Night Hours: 7:00pm-7:00am Job Essentials The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements and competencies. Emergency Vehicle Driver Training Course (CEVO or equivalent) Ability to lift, move and carry patients as required in order to provide pre-hospital emergency care. Demonstrated communication/writing skills. Hazardous Material - Training/Operations (Level I N.J. State Police Office of Emergency Management) Incident Command System Training/NJ State Police, Office of Emergency Management Both Hazardous Material Training and Incident Command System Training CEVO must be completed within 4 months of hire date. Education Requirements HS Diploma or GED License/Certification/Registry Current N.J. MICP certification Current driver's license with no moving violations and motor vehicle accidents. Working knowledge of driver safety and emergency care. Current AHA BLS, ACLS & PALS certifications Englewood Health provides a minimum rate to comply with New Jersey Law. The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation.
