Location: Norfolk / Virginia Beach, VA

Salary: $85,000 – $95,000 / year + Performance Bonus

The Opportunity

We are seeking a hands-on, growth-minded  Area Coach to oversee a multi-unit span of Taco Bell restaurants in the Norfolk / Virginia Beach area. Reporting to the Market Coach, you will directly own store-level P&L outcomes, drive operational execution, and build a strong leadership bench across your stores. This is an active, in-restaurant leadership role designed for someone who thrives on the store floor coaching General Managers, walking shifts, and elevating speed and guest satisfaction.

What You’ll Do

• P&L Ownership: Drive top-line sales, manage labor and food costs, maximize store-level EBITDA, and convert period flashes into immediate operational actions.PDF
  
• In-Restaurant Leadership: Spend the bulk of your week on the floor—walking shifts, riding with RGMs, and coaching managers in real time.PDF
  
• Bench Development: Mentor and hold Restaurant General Managers (RGMs) accountable while developing AGMs and Shift Leaders to ensure every store has a ready-now succession plan.PDF
  
• Brand Standards: Champion QSC, optimize drive-thru speeds, lift guest experience scores, and flawlessly execute Taco Bell programs, LTOs, and rollouts.PDF
  
• Platform Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional HR, training, supply chain, and marketing teams while leveraging a massive 475+ unit infrastructure.PDF
  

What You Bring

• Experience: 5+ years of multi-unit QSR leadership managing a span of 4 or more locations with full P&L accountability.
  
• Brand Expertise: Taco Bell leadership experience is strongly preferred.
  
• Hands-on Approach: A proven leadership style focused on personal relationships, active shift walks, and ground-level involvement rather than managing from a distance.
  
• Track Record: Demonstrated history of developing and promoting talent, supported by a stable employment history.
  
• Financial Acumen: Strong command of period-end P&Ls, controllable expenses, food and labor metrics, and store EBITDA.
  

Compensation & Perks

• Base Salary: $85,000 – $95,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
