Security Information Specialist - Entry Level (Maryland)

Security Information Specialist - Entry Level (Maryland) Security and Counterintelligence is responsible for the protection of NSA/CSS information, people and facilities worldwide. In support of this mission, Security Information Specialists are integrated into the personnel, physical, and counterintelligence security disciplines to ensure highly sensitive information utilized in all security processes are protected and handled in accordance with all applicable laws and policies. Interfacing with NSA and other agencies, these specialists are the backbone of and the customer service representatives for the Security and Counterintelligence team. Security Information Specialists work in a myriad of offices. The responsibilities of a Security Information Specialist include, but are not limited to: Track/manage highly sensitive security processes Maintain highly sensitive security information, disclosed only to authorized recipients, in appropriate formats, and within constraints of relevant laws (e.g., the Privacy Act and FOIA). Prepare accurate and complete reports that document processes, outcomes, and findings Provide basic security analysis and risk recommendations to decision makers and customers Create products based on analysis of security and/or counterintelligence data #J-18808-Ljbffr Austin Community College
