As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver Rover in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols and a primarily driving post to help support a secure environment. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms when needed, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at the location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, storefront perimeters, parking areas, and/or other assigned sections of the location. Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, maintenance concerns, and/or unauthorized access, and report observations according to post instructions. Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and/or directional support while helping to deter unwanted activity through a visible presence. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A guard card or license is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
