Locum Dentist Opportunity for a Pediatric Office - Roanoke, VA

Position Overview

Location: Roanoke, VA
Provider Needed: Pediatric Dentist (General Dentists with strong pediatric experience are encouraged to apply)
Start Date: ASAP – Ongoing
Schedule: Monday – Thursday

Join a busy, established pediatric practice with a strong patient demand and an experienced support team. You'll enjoy clinical autonomy while working in a modern, fully equipped office focused on delivering exceptional care to children.

  • 2 Registered Dental Hygienists and dedicated Dental Assistants

  • Preventive Dentistry
  • Restorative Dentistry
  • Stainless Steel Crowns
  • Pulpotomies
  • Extractions
  • Nitrous Sedation

Payor Mix

  • Approximately 50% Medicaid (Pediatric)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive Daily Rate

Requirements

  • DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
  • Pediatric Dentistry residency or significant pediatric clinical experience
  • Active Virginia dental license (or ability to obtain)
  • Board-eligible or board-certified Pediatric Dentist preferred
  • Nitrous Sedation certification
  • Medicaid enrollment (or willingness to obtain)
  • Excellent communication skills and a patient-first approach
