Program Coordinator II

Responsibilities of the Program Coordinator II Upon selection of cases for mediation, coordinate the consent of the affected parties to participate in the agency's mediation program. Schedule and conduct mediation conferences involving the parties in selected cases. Conclude cases with preparation of written agreements when an agreement is reached; forward selected cases to the investigations unit of the agency if an impasse is declared. Provide mediation training and conduct workshops for employment and non-employment. Review and remain educated about the various employment laws and related matters that are relevant to the agency's mission in general and mediation in particular. Qualifications A bachelor's degree and experience working with Human Affairs and Fair Housing Laws and investigations. Additional Requirements Neutrality is essential to maintain the integrity of the mediation process. Physical demands: office work and transporting material to onsite locations requiring lifting items weighing up to 15 lbs. Local and state‑wide travel required. Ability to work under a degree of stress related to duties requiring attention and deadlines.
