Summary:

Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a PCU/Stepdown RN to take an assignment in Saint Louis, Missouri.

**Required Experience/Qualifications:** - Minimum of 2 years of experience - Experience with vents, titration of pressors, and insulin drips is a must - Experience with Trauma Level II is required - Proficiency in titration of vasopressors, sedation medication, art lines, cardiac arrhythmias, chest tubes, and trach vented patients is a hardstop/non-negotiable **Certifications Required:** - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) - NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) **Skills Required:** - Arterial line management - BiPAP/CPAP management - Blood Product Administration - Cardiac Telemetry - Care of Ventilated Patient - Central line care/management - Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac - Titrating vasopressors and sedation medication - Management of dysrhythmias - IV insulin protocols - Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs) - Interpretation of dysrhythmias - Non-invasive airway management - Pacemakers/Temporary/Permanent - Tracheostomy care/management - Use of Rapid Response/Code teams **Preferred Experience/Skills:** - Previous Charge Experience - Charting System Experience (EPIC) **Licensure:** - Pending License accepted, but certain states may have specific requirements **Clinical Experience:** - Needs some ICU experience/high acuity PCU - Must have been at the bedside within the last 6 months **Other Requirements:** - Travel experience required - Must troubleshoot vents in the absence of respiratory therapists - Flu Vaccine is required; medical/religious exemptions only
