Staff Pharmacist | Otisville, New York

A healthcare facility in Otisville, NY is seeking a qualified Staff Pharmacist to cover a medical leave on a contract basis for approximately 2+ months. This role requires a dedicated professional to manage medication dispensing and ensure high standards of pharmacy services.
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- Typical hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with potential shifts from 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- Accurately fill and dispense medications in compliance with regulations and facility protocols
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure patient safety during all dispensing processes
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to verify prescriptions and address any medication-related concerns
- Adhere to federal and state pharmacy laws and guidelines
- 1-2 years of pharmacy experience preferred
- Must hold a valid state pharmacy license in good standing from any state
- Federal clearance is preferred, supporting compliance in secure environments
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
