Job Description Manage civil litigation cases from inception through resolution, including complaint preparation, calendaring, discovery, and trial support Propound and respond to discovery, draft motions, and maintain accurate case timelines in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment Handle law and motion matters and coordinate with attorneys on hearing preparation and filings Assist attorneys with all phases of trial preparation — organizing exhibits, coordinating witnesses, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks Maintain up‑to‑date client status reports and case management entries in the firm’s online tracking system Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel as needed Support a medium‑sized caseload independently, managing competing priorities with precision and reliability Qualifications 3+ years of civil litigation paralegal experience in a law firm setting Direct experience in one or more of the following: landlord/tenant, eviction, foreclosure, creditor rights, or creditor bankruptcy Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedure from filing through trial Proficiency with e‑filing systems and case management platforms Exceptional organizational skills with a track record of meeting deadlines consistently Professional, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently on a full caseload Stable, continuous work history demonstrating tenure and reliability (a plus) Why You Will Love Working Here This is a firm where experience is respected, good work is noticed, and people stay because the environment earns their loyalty.
