Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Building Access Control in Foothill Ranch, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. Position Type: Full Time / Graveyard Shift Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:30 AMTue10:00 PM - 06:30 AMWed10:00 PM - 06:30 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:30 AMSun10:00 PM - 06:30 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor customer and employee activity, access points, and high‑traffic areas to help to deter theft, trespassing, and other policy violations while maintaining a professional presence. Support closing and opening routines, assist with alarm‑related response, and report maintenance, lighting, and/or hazard concerns that could affect daily operations. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
