Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Irvine, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal in a residential location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine driving patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This unarmed role offers the chance to support residents and guests through strong communication and customer service while working with a team that values being agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and acting with integrity.

Pay Rate: $22.25 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or maintenance-related concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate relevant information to property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter access points.
• Monitor for unauthorized persons, unusual activity, and/or property-related issues to help support a secure residential environment and report observations according to site protocols.
• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and/or resident-related concerns while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
