VDOT Construction Inspectors (Fredericksburg, Culpeper, and NOVA districts)

Construction Inspector EBA Engineering is proactively building a qualified Construction Inspector pipeline for VDOT work anticipated to begin in Spring 2026. This posting is intended to identify and connect with inspectors interested in future assignments in the Fredericksburg, Culpeper, and Northern Virginia (NOVA) districts, as well as other potential locations. Your Responsibilities: In your role as a Construction Inspector, your primary duties will include: Conducting thorough inspections of roadway, structure, and bridge construction/maintenance projects to ensure quality control and contract compliance. Communicating inspection findings through clear and concise written reports and verbal communication. Applying mathematical principles, including algebra and geometry, to perform accurate measurements and calculations. Using materials testing equipment to assess quality and durability. Preparing and maintaining project records using contract management and Microsoft 365 software.
