Estimator- Water/Wastewater Construction

We are seeking an Estimator with experience in water and wastewater construction to support the pursuit and pricing of municipal and industrial infrastructure projects throughout the Houston area. This role will focus on preparing accurate, competitive cost estimates for treatment plants, pump stations, pipelines, and related civil scope. Salary: USD100000 - USD130000 per year Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates for water and wastewater construction projects, including self-perform and subcontracted work Review plans, specifications, geotechnical reports, and contract documents to determine scope and pricing strategy Perform quantity takeoffs for civil, mechanical, and structural components Solicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier pricing Develop bid summaries, clarifications, and value engineering ideas Coordinate with operations, project management, and business development during the bid process Support post-bid reviews, handoff meetings, and cost history tracking Qualifications 3+ years of estimating experience on water and wastewater or heavy civil infrastructure projects Experience with treatment plants, pump stations, pipelines, or utility infrastructure preferred Strong understanding of civil construction means, methods, and materials Proficiency with estimating software and tools (e.g., HeavyBid, Bluebeam, Excel) Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills Preferred Experience Municipal work for Texas public entities Design-bid-build and CMAR delivery methods Self-perform civil or utility construction background #J-18808-Ljbffr Lvi-Associates
