The candidate will provide a full range of program management support in accordance with DoDD 5000.01, Defense Acquisition System, DoDI 5000.02, Adaptive Acquisition Framework, and AFI 63-101/20-101, Integrated Life Cycle Management guidance and will serve as an adviser to government personnel. Duties will include planning, executing, and controlling acquisition programs through all phases of the acquisition life­cycle.The ideal candidate for this position is self-motivated, possesses broad U.S. Air Force acquisition experience, is comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced, collaborative work environment, and can identify and prioritize necessary tasks/activities to ensure program and organizational success.Essential Job ResponsibilitiesAssist in the development of:o Documentation of acquisition strategieso Program documentation as identified in AFI 63-101/20-101, Integrated Life Cycle Managemento Statements of Work or Performance Work Statements and other Request for Proposal documents· Support:o Technical evaluation of program proposalso Identification, analysis, mitigation development, and monitoring of program risks, issues, and opportunitieso Development and analysis of program Integrated Master Scheduleso Analysis of program cost performance (Earned Value Management) and implementation of corrective actionsMinimum QualificationsActive SECRET clearance with ability to obtain TOP SECRET with SCI (TS/SCI) clearance· 10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field, four (4) of those years must be in DoD Acquisition Programs; or eight (8) years relevant experience with Masters in related field, three (3) of those years must be in DoD Acquisition Programs; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience, eight (8) of those years must be in DoD Acquisition Programs· Broad knowledge and demonstrated application of DoD and Air Force program management policies and procedures on an ACAT Ill or higher modification program on a major weapon system· Ability to work effectively both independently and a part of a collaborative team· Excellent written and verbal communications skillsPreferred RequirementsHighly Desired Experience· Propulsion Experience· Comprehensive experience developing and maintaining spreadsheets for tracking and analysisDesired Technical Experience:· Knowledge of:o Propulsion systems in support of subsystem definition, development, integration, and testingo Requirements development and verification methods to include review of ICD, sustainment, T&E, system architectures, and airworthiness certification across a wide range of hardware and software systemso Policies and practices of systems acquisition and program management as defined in Department of Defense Instruction 5000.02 and Air Force Instruction 63-101/20-101· Experience with:o Time Compliance Technical Order (TCTO) development and validationo Reviewing and/or developing AF Form 1067 (Modification Proposals)o Fielding new and updated aircraft systemsPhysical RequirementsMay require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment.
