She Recruits is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery nursing leader to oversee daily operations and clinical excellence within a busy, high-volume L&D unit. This role is ideal for a strong, hands-on RN leader with a proven track record in labor and delivery who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Role Overview:
The RN Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, staffing, and directing all functions of the Labor & Delivery unit to ensure safe, high-quality, patient-centered care. This leader partners closely with the Director of Women's Services to develop and implement policies, procedures, and growth strategies that support both operational and clinical performance. The team prides itself on exceptional teamwork and a shared commitment to meaningful, compassionate patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily clinical and operational workflow for the Labor & Delivery department
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, hospital policies, and evidence-based care standards
• Develop staffing plans, supervise RNs, CNAs, and Unit Secretaries, and support performance management
• Promote a culture of teamwork, professionalism, safety, and exceptional patient experience
• Collaborate with leadership to enhance unit goals, improve throughput, and support quality initiatives
• Drive continuous improvements in maternal and neonatal care outcomes
• Maintain readiness for emergencies and support safe, efficient L&D operations including ORs and PACU

Qualifications:
• Active RN License (state-specific or Compact/Multi-State accepted)
• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certification required
• Minimum 3+ years of RN experience in Labor & Delivery with demonstrated leadership responsibilities
• Strong, proven leadership presence in L&D, with the ability to guide, coach, and mentor frontline teams

Unit Details:
• 12 L&D beds with 4 overflow beds
• 3 dedicated L&D operating rooms
• 2 triage beds
• 4-bed PACU
• Approximately 300 births per month (3,500 annually)
• Direct reports include RNs, CNAs, and Unit Secretaries
• Reports to Director of Women's Services
