Title: Student Front Office I

Job Purpose:
Student Front Office works under the general administration and supervision of the Department Manager.

Reports to : Administrative Secretary

Period of Agreement: School year

Based at : Student Wellness Services La Sierra University Riverside CA

Hours: 10 20 hours

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

1. Routine office tasks.
2. Answering phone calls.
3. Scheduling appointments filing and maintaining patient records.
4. Preparation of patients charts in the Electronic Medical Record (Point & Click).
5. Must have updated computer knowledge and ability to work with Banner Microsoft Office products and Point & Click EMR.
6. Assisting with maintenance of cleanliness of work area.
7. Assisting with registration clearance.
8. Assisting with the purging of medical records annually.
9. Summer responsibilities include assisting with Student Orientations.
10. Compile monthly Health Services Charge Report for Accounts Payable Department.
11. Self Treatment Center
    1. Scan Self-Treatment Cards into Point & Click EMR.
    2. Monitors and restocks over-the-counter medicines and medical supplies
12. Assisting with the packaging of over-the-counter medications

Education : Must currently be a student at La Sierra University.

CPR and First Aid certified

Experience : Previous office work experience.

Availability : Must be available to work from 8-12 pm Monday through Thursday starting fall quarter

Skills : Ability to work well with people and have good interpersonal relationship skills. Also must be able to work independently and as part of a health team. Accuracy full concentration and absolute confidentiality are required. Typing skills and excellent computer knowledge skills are essential.

Physical/Mental Demands : Indoor office environment. Light work involving minimum physical effort. Occasional lifting as needed.

Wage Range : $16.90/hr - $19.90/hr
