Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Weekend and holiday rotations based on operational need

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry inpatient setting
• Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms, including identification of lethal arrhythmias
• Float to other units as needed based on operational requirements
• Document patient care accurately using the Epic electronic health record system
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotation schedules as operationally required

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license or valid Compact RN license required
• BLS certification required – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum of two years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last three years in the Medical Surgical / Telemetry specialty
• Epic electronic health record experience required
• Must pass a Telemetry competency exam prior to start (Adult and Pediatric components; passing score of 80% or higher, with 100% identification of lethal rhythms; up to three attempts permitted under specified conditions)
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with cardiac rhythm interpretation and advanced telemetry monitoring
• Familiarity with floating across units in a fast-paced acute care environment
