Security Officer - Driver Operations

As a Security Officer Driver Operations in Elwood, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Driving Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter. Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized activity or unusual conditions. Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately in accordance with site-specific reporting procedures. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
