Quality Control Manager

If you’ve been on a job where quality slips, you know how quickly things unravel. This role exists to make sure that doesn’t happen I'm looking to speak with experienced professional who have delivered complex construction projects, and enjoy taking real ownership of QA/QC across the work — not just report on it. The role You’ll be leading quality across active projects managing QC plans, overseeing inspections and testing, and working closely with project teams to keep standards where they should be. It’s hands‑on. You’ll spot issues early, deal with them properly, and take ownership of compliance and documentation without letting it slow delivery down. You’ve built your experience in construction QA/QC environments where quality isn’t just a process it’s critical to how projects get delivered. You understand the impact it has on programme, cost, and client relationships, and you’re comfortable taking ownership in live environments. Proven background in construction QA/QC Experience across civil, infrastructure, or similar projects Confident working alongside project teams and holding standards Proactive — you spot issues early and deal with them properly This isn’t about sitting back and reporting on problems. You’ll be expected to stay close to the work, challenge where needed, and influence how projects are delivered day‑to‑day. Not a box‑ticking exercise Not a purely desk‑based role Not a position where quality is treated as an afterthought The work is there, and it’s the kind that requires things to be done properly.
