Account Manager / Technical Manager (7277) Overview of Role This position serves as a primary interface between TSMC and one of our leading U.S. semiconductor customers focused on advanced computing and high-performance technologies. The Account Manager (or Technical Manager) will drive technical and business collaboration, oversee operational execution, and align foundry and packaging capabilities with customer roadmaps. Success requires a balance of commercial acumen, technical fluency, and strong cross‑functional partnership. Responsibilities Lead discussions on advanced packaging technologies and silicon process coordination. Manage foundry operations, capacity planning, and project forecasting. Serve as the key liaison across internal functions — including Product Planning, Field Technology Support (FTS), Business Development, and Operations. Translate customer requirements into actionable deliverables and ensure smooth execution. Monitor key performance indicators and proactively identify business growth opportunities. Foster long‑term partnerships through consistent communication and problem‑solving. Success Metrics 6–12 months: Gain proficiency with internal tools, systems, and business processes. Establish collaborative relationships with internal and customer stakeholders. Demonstrate proactive ownership of customer programs and strategic initiatives. Expand business opportunities and strengthen customer satisfaction. Contribute to the business unit’s growth trajectory through operational excellence. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline. 9+ years’ experience in the semiconductor ecosystem (foundry, EDA, or advanced packaging preferred). Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and account management. Skilled in contract negotiation, capacity forecasting, and roadmap alignment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proficiency in Mandarin Chinese preferred for cross‑border coordination. Preferred Qualifications Proactive and self‑driven with a growth mindset. Demonstrated ability to manage complex, global accounts. Collaborative, detail‑oriented, and comfortable with high‑pressure situations. Strong EQ and business judgment in customer interactions. Pay Transparency Statement At TSMC, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package. At the time of this posting, this role typically pays an annual base salary between $123,500 per year and $180,500 per year. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range. Factors that influence pay include the individual's skills, qualifications, education, experience and the position level and location.
