Overview Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) – Ultrasound specialty travel assignment in Ukiah, California. Start date: 09/28/2026 for a 26-week assignment. Weekly pay: $2,469–$2,646 per week. Enter and communicate results in the electronic medical record; coordinate with radiologists for preliminary interpretation as required. Ensure patient safety and comfort through proper positioning, preparation, patient shielding, and infection control practices. Maintain equipment and room readiness; verify patient identifiers and procedural consent; adhere to established protocols and privacy guidelines. Demonstrate proficiency with Epic EMR for charting, orders, and image storage; participate in shift handoffs and intra-team communication. Operate within no-call requirements; collaborate with team members across the night shift to maintain timely imaging services. Requirements Active nursing license per the state of assignment (CA) or as required by the setting. Current BLS certification. At least two years of recent ultrasound experience in the field. Proficiency with GE ultrasound equipment. Experience with Epic electronic health record system. Ability to perform all general ultrasound studies, including OB; must be able to work the weekend/night schedule described.
