IT Support Specialist I

Empath Health is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team in an on-site role supporting day-to-day technology needs across the organization. Location: Ocala, FL (on-site) What you’ll Do Provide hands‑on technical support for end users, resolving hardware, software, and system issues both remotely and on‑site Install, configure, and deploy end user equipment, ensuring systems are set up efficiently and correctly from day one Maintain and track IT equipment inventory, supporting lifecycle management and availability of resources Document issues, resolutions, and trends to improve response times and prevent recurring problems Partner with IT team members to support projects, system upgrades, and ongoing infrastructure initiatives Deliver responsive, service‑oriented support while escalating more complex issues when appropriate Why Join Empath Health? What You’ll Need Associate’s degree required (Bachelor’s preferred) in a related field Strong foundational knowledge of Windows environments, Microsoft Office, and end user hardware (Dell, HP, mobile devices) Experience providing hands‑on technical support, including remote troubleshooting and help desk support Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical users Valid Florida driver’s license with reliable transportation to support on‑site needs What You’ll Find at Empath Health Unified in empathy, we serve our communities through extraordinary Full Life Care for All.
