If you're passionate about precision and quality, we'd love to have you on our team!Why Empower Manufacturing?Competitive pay: $20 to $30 per hour, depending on experience.Work-Life Balance: Enjoy a 4-day work week with optional overtime.Culture: A positive and supportive work culture.Work Schedule:40 hours per week, Monday through Thursday.Monday - Thursday: 6:00am - 4:30pm.Fridays as needed.Optional weekend overtime available, but never mandatory!Our Fantastic Benefits:Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceCompany-paid Life InsuranceEmployee Assistance ProgramDollar-for-dollar 401K match up to 4%80 hours Paid Time Off starting Day 1Maternity / Paternity Leave8 paid holidaysMonthly bonus potentialWhat You'll Do:Showcase Your Skills: Set up and operate CNC lathes, demonstrating your expertise and precision.Innovate with Confidence: Perform dry-runs on new programs, ensuring everything runs smoothly before production.Ensure Quality: Inspect parts meticulously to meet customer prints and specifications.Work Efficiently: Use an overhead hoist or jib crane to safely and efficiently load and unload steel from the machine.Requirements:Essential Functions for Our CNC Lathe Operator Role:Read and Interpret Customer Prints and Specifications: Utilize your expertise to accurately understand and work from detailed customer drawings and specs.Setup and Operate CNC Lathes with Live Tooling: Showcase your skills by efficiently setting up and operating CNC lathes.Work with Large Dimensions: Handle parts up to 24" in diameter and 125" in length.Make Offsets and Perform Light Program Editing: Fine-tune operations by making necessary offsets and performing minor program edits.Follow Company Work Orders and Instructions: Adhere to provided work orders and instructions to ensure high-quality results.Measure Parts with Basic Equipment: Ensure precision by measuring parts with tools like micrometers, dial calipers, thread gages, and verniers.Adaptability: Be ready to take on additional tasks as assigned by management to support our team's success.Join a company that puts you first.
