Position Overview

Stand-By Personnel is seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician to support facility operations at a manufacturing plant in Tulsa. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on 480V electrical systems, HVAC equipment, plumbing systems, and general building infrastructure while ensuring equipment reliability and minimizing downtime.

The ideal candidate has strong industrial maintenance experience, excellent troubleshooting skills, and is committed to maintaining a safe, efficient work environment.

Required Experience & Skills
• High school diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of industrial, commercial, or facilities maintenance experience preferred
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing 480V electrical systems
• HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting experience required
• Plumbing maintenance and repair experience required
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Troubleshoot and repair 480V electrical systems , including motors, starters, breakers, and control circuits
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems, including rooftop units, air handlers, compressors, and controls
• Maintain and repair plumbing systems, including fixtures, valves, water lines, drains, and pumps
• Conduct routine inspections of facility equipment and building systems
• Read and interpret electrical, plumbing, mechanical schematics, and blueprints
• Complete work orders and accurately document maintenance activities
• Follow all company safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements
• Assist with facility improvement projects and general building maintenance
• Respond to equipment failures and facility repair needs in a timely manner
• Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications
• EPA Certification
• HVAC Certification
• Electrical or Industrial Maintenance Trade School training
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial facility

Physical Requirements
• Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in confined or elevated areas as needed
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures and industrial manufacturing environments
• Ability to safely work around electrical equipment, HVAC systems, and industrial machinery while wearing required PPE
