Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit, delivering safe and effective nursing interventions
• Document all patient care activities accurately using EPIC EMR
• Administer and manage medications utilizing the Omnicell medication system
• Participate in weekend coverage on a rotating basis, approximately every other weekend, which may vary based on unit need
• Floating to other units or facilities is required as needed based on census; staff will only float to units for which competencies have been demonstrated and documented
• Complete all required pre-assignment modules and annual compliance requirements within designated timeframes

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN License (or compact equivalent accepted per state guidelines)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry unit
• Minimum 1 year of experience with EPIC EMR required
• Must reside more than 100 miles from all system facilities to be eligible at full rate; candidates residing 90–99.9 miles may be considered at a reduced rate; candidates under 90 miles are not eligible (exceptions apply for certain specialties and shift types — see details below)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Telemetry, ER Holding, or Cardiac Telemetry settings
• First-time travelers will be considered based on overall clinical experience
• Familiarity with Omnicell medication management systems
