Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Georgia

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends (typically every other weekend); nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6 on a 32-bed progressive care unit; floating within scope of practice may be required

Highlights:

• Progressive care overflow unit serving adults to geriatric patients with cardiac, pulmonary, renal, and surgical diagnoses
• Manage continuous IV medications including cardiac drips (Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Milrinone, Nitroglycerin), diuretics, anticoagulants, and insulin drips
• Epic EMR system (preferred), Pyxis medication management, SBAR communication protocols
• Contract length varies; up to 7 days of requested time off per contract may be considered
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, phlebotomy, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and transportation
• Experience with post-cardiac catheterization care, TR bands, arrhythmia management, and hemodynamic monitoring required

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Georgia or Compact state)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience; prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated experience managing continuous IV medications including cardiac drips, anticoagulants, diuretics, and insulin drips (hard requirement)
• Experience with cardiac telemetry, arrhythmia interpretation and management, and Med-Surg patient populations
• Proficiency with Epic charting system preferred
• Full compliance documentation required prior to start date
