About the Position

Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: September 14, 2026
Location: Stockbridge, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 36 or 48 hours per week (specify preference at submission); 4:1 patient ratio; every other weekend required; no call required

Highlights:

• Level 3 Trauma Center (in process) with Primary Stroke Center designation
• 59-bed Emergency Department with daily census of 250 visits
• Specialized care including CHF, STEMI, and chest pain center protocols
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including rapid response teams, pharmacy, respiratory services, and more
• Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of experience
• Maximum 7 days of approved time off per contract (must be finalized at time of submission)

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of emergency department nursing experience
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS (TNCC, ENPC, and CPI preferred)
• Skills required: Care of ventilated patients, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, triage experience (continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation administration/monitoring preferred)
• Telemetry competency exam required
• All patient age groups: neonates through geriatrics
• Full compliance documentation required prior to start date
