CNC Machinist

Reliance One, Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join a growing manufacturing team in Plymouth, Michigan. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled machinist with strong CNC programming experience who enjoys working in a precision manufacturing environment focused on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines to perform drilling, grinding, milling, and other machining operations. Create CNC programs for new manufacturing processes and improve existing programs to optimize efficiency. Prepare and install tooling for new production processes. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements. Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality specifications and dimensional tolerances. Perform routine machine maintenance to maximize equipment performance and minimize downtime. Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve machining processes. Diagnose and troubleshoot machine malfunctions and programming issues. Maintain accurate documentation of machine setups, tooling changes, program edits, and production adjustments. Follow all safety and quality standards while maintaining an organized work area. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of CNC machining experience. Experience programming CNC machines. Strong experience with CNC machine setup, program edits, and troubleshooting. Proficiency with G-Code programming. Experience assembling and operating lathe machines. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with bore gauges and precision measuring equipment. Experience with Fanuc Controls. Proficient using hand tools and precision inspection equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
