Overview Trillium Staffing is now seeking a Laser Operator for full-time work in West Bend, WI! Schedule is 2nd shift, M-F, 2pm-10pm. Pay rate is $18-25/hour. Reporting to the Laser Supervisor, this position is responsible for operating Bystronic and Mitsubishi CO laser machines, de-nesting and finishing laser-cut parts, and organizing materials in a just-in-time fabrication environment. The Laser Operator performs machine setups, monitors quality and productivity standards, troubleshoots minor issues, and supports cross-training across laser platforms. This role also includes material handling using forklifts, basic equipment maintenance, and collaboration with production and maintenance teams to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency. Responsibilities Operate Bystronic and Mitsubishi CO laser machines. Perform machine setups, monitor quality and productivity standards, troubleshoot minor issues, and support cross-training across laser platforms. Handle material in a just-in-time fabrication environment; use forklifts for material handling. Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency. Qualifications Strong laser or CNC operating experience Blueprint reading skills Basic shop math and measurement proficiency Working knowledge of G & M codes Ability to safely operate a forklift High school diploma or GED required Mitsubishi laser experience, overhead crane experience, and work in a highly technical manufacturing environment are preferred Apply now!
