This is a potential to hire opportunity on 1st shift.Quality Control Technician Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:Perform in-process, first-piece, and final inspections on manufactured productsRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, engineering drawings, and customer specificationsUse precision measuring equipment, including height gauges, calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other testing instrumentsVerify measurements and product characteristics meet quality standards and tolerancesComplete inspection reports and maintain accurate quality documentationIdentify, segregate, and document non-conforming materials and productsCommunicate quality concerns, defects, and production issues to supervisors and production personnelSupport corrective actions and continuous improvement initiativesConduct audits and inspections of materials, components, and finished productsMaintain a clean and organized work area and inspection equipmentFollow all company quality procedures, safety policies, and work instructionsSupport and adhere to all system procedures and company policies/proceduresQuality Control Technician Requirements:Ability to lift up to 30 pounds throughout the shiftAbility to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the workdayGood hand-eye coordination and attention to detailAbility to work with small components and precision measuring toolsAbility to work in a manufacturing environmentPrevious experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or Manufacturing InspectionAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawingsExperience using height gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other inspection equipmentStrong written and verbal communication skills in EnglishBasic math skills, including understanding decimals, fractions, and measurement conversionsStrong attention to detail and ability to accurately document inspection resultsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPreferred experience in manufacturing, machining, fabrication, metalworking, or industrial environmentsPreferred knowledge of quality systems, inspection procedures, and root cause analysisPreferred experience working with customer specifications and quality standards
