Quality Technician II

The selected candidate will inspect incoming and outgoing materials for compliance with plans and specifications to ensure the highest standards of quality.Roles and Responsibilities:Provides weekly and/or monthly reports to senior levels of managementKeeps all quality documents up to dateMaintains awareness of regulatory requirement and customer service expectationsEnsures activities in the quality plan are carried outCoordinates the investigation of customer complaintsPrepares and analyses all information for the purpose of management reviewsEnsures that non-conforming products are identified and placed on restriction properlyMonitors incoming inspections as items are receivedInspects incoming materials to verify they meet our requirementsCompletes and maintains receiving inspection recordsReports and documents any issues found during receivingKeeps up with “cost of poor quality” (COPQ) documentsMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent (GED, HiSET, TASC, etc.)Minimum of 5 years of Quality experience in a manufacturing and/or industrial environmentStrong background in providing support to all levels of managementPrior experience with knowledge of quality terms, definitions and conceptsUnderstanding of types of measurement, measurement terminology, and different types of measuring instrumentsProficiency in utilizing hand tools, gauges and appropriate quality tools and instrumentsHigh level of competence using Microsoft programs and other systems used in the quality control programPossesses a good understanding of the essentials for safety in a manufacturing environmentAbility to work on-site in Richmond, IllinoisPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in associated disciplineAtlantic Track offers a holistic benefits package, including competitive pay, 401k plan with company matching funds, health / dental / vision insurance options, life insurance, paid time off, an employee shared ownership plan, and more.
