Creative Senior Manager, Store Responsibilities Concept, design, and execute for all PetSmart in-store intiatives across multiple platforms including but not limited to: signs, fixtures, presentations, printed materials. Carry out Visual Design Strategy through PetSmart’s brand identity and guidelines to execute engaging creative. Work collaboratively with fellow team members and clients to produce creatively sound solutions. Be a trustworthy and reliable teammate. Be super quick on your feet, thrive under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations to produce amazing work that is consistently on-brand. Proactively and bravely provide insight to new technology and design trends. Create and manage all-sized projects and prioritize multiple requests at any given time. Strive to hit all deadlines, beating them wins you bonus points! Build strong relationships, effectively communicating with other designers, CDs, VP, project managers as well as clients. Present/sell your work while clearly addressing the creative reasons for your design decisions. Demonstrate advanced understanding of the creative objectives and needs of internal clients. Handle post-production photography work as needed. Have a good grasp on how photography works into your design through choosing the right shot, cropping for the space and telling the best possible story. Contribute to all stages of creative process: from concept, through execution and some production, to delivery of final files. Proactively bring new and well-designed ideas to the forefront to elevate and expand our brand message. Ideate and execute with little oversight and iterate on your work based on feedback from creative leadership and stakeholders. Options win! Required Skills and Experience Sr Graphic Designer/Art Director with 6+ years professional design experience BS/BA in graphic design or related field. Not required, but preferred. Your experience, energy, passion, collaboration and portfolio are what we’re most focused on. Well versed in industry-standard creative applications: Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office applications. Some experience in print & production is a plus. Must have an amazing portfolio that shows extreme talent in typography, layout, use of photography and color, and exceptional creativity across all platforms. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Meet commitments and demonstrate excellent follow-through. Experience working in a project management software a huge plus. Exhibit professionalism, flexibility and composure under stressful situations. Work fast and under pressure. Strategic and critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills. Self-motivated, proactive individual with a positive, energetic attitude. Ability to take feedback and act upon it with urgency and positivity.
