What You’ll Do: As a Security Officer, you’ll play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure facility by: Monitoring access to the property and controlling incoming and outgoing traffic Performing routine patrols and inspecting doors, windows, and gates for security Monitoring security cameras and reporting suspicious activity Watching for and reporting safety hazards Checking incoming and outgoing trucks and ensuring proper sealing procedures Notifying management of any security or loss prevention concerns Announcing visitors and deliveries to appropriate personnel Supporting Quality Assurance to ensure compliance with SQF security standards Maintaining cleanliness of the guard post Preserving order and enforcing company security policies Performing other duties as assigned What We’re Looking For: High school diploma or GED required One (1) year of security experience preferred (military experience accepted) Good communication and basic computer skills Ability to read and write at a high school graduate level Strong judgment and decision-making skills Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations professionally Dependability matters — we value team members who show up ready to contribute and take pride in their work Why You’ll Love Working Here: Named one of Birmingham’s Best Places to Work (Birmingham Business Journal, 2025) Supportive team environment where your work matters Competitive pay and benefits A company that values safety, reliability, and teamwork Equal Opportunity Employer.
