RN Coordinator Trauma Womens Weekend Days

As an RN Coordinator Trauma Womens Weekend Days at HCA Healthcare, you will play a key role in supporting the trauma program with a special focus on women’s health and trauma care during weekend day shifts. Working within the Healthcare & Medical Services department, you will coordinate and deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care for women experiencing traumatic injuries or trauma-related conditions, collaborating closely with physicians, surgeons, emergency and critical care teams, social workers, and ancillary staff. Your responsibilities will include triaging and assessing trauma patients, implementing and evaluating individualized care plans, monitoring patient status, administering medications and treatments, and ensuring that all interventions align with trauma protocols and women’s health best practices. You will help facilitate the trauma patient flow from admission through discharge or transfer, support trauma activations, and ensure timely communication among interdisciplinary team members. In addition to direct patient care, you will serve as a clinical resource and coordinator for trauma and women’s services on weekend days, supporting quality improvement initiatives, data collection, documentation and reporting related to trauma cases, and adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards. You will participate in staff education around trauma and women’s health, champion patient safety and infection prevention practices, and assist in developing and updating unit-based policies and procedures. In this role, you will be expected to provide compassionate, patient-centered care, offering emotional support and education to patients and their families, while advocating for their needs and preferences.
