About the Opportunity

Cornell Pump is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team in Clackamas, Oregon. This role is ideal for a hands-on maintenance professional with strong troubleshooting abilities and proven experience servicing, repairing, and maintaining CNC equipment in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery.

• Troubleshoot and repair CNC machines and related production equipment.

• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system failures.

• Conduct equipment repairs, adjustments, and calibrations to ensure optimal machine performance.

• Maintain and repair facility systems including electrical, plumbing, and general building infrastructure.

• Partner with production and operations teams to identify recurring equipment issues and implement long-term corrective actions.

• Coordinate and manage third-party service vendors for specialized repairs and facility projects.

• Maintain accurate maintenance records, service logs, and work orders.

• Ensure compliance with all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance equipment reliability and uptime.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.

• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining CNC machinery .

• Strong understanding of:

• Mechanical systems

• Electrical systems

• Hydraulic systems

• Pneumatic systems

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to maintenance emergencies when needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Manufacturing Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field.

• Experience with predictive and preventive maintenance programs.

• Forklift certification or previous experience operating material handling equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in various manufacturing environments.

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment as required.

• Ability to safely operate forklifts, lifts, and other maintenance equipment.

• Must be able to work around moving machinery and equipment while following all safety protocols.
