Job Overview A law firm seeks a seasoned Personal Injury Attorney to join its dynamic and expanding practice in Virginia Beach, VA. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing a diverse case portfolio and successfully litigating cases in Circuit, General District, and Federal Courts within the Commonwealth of Virginia. Duties Evaluate potential new cases and client intakes. Engage proactively with current and prospective clients. Oversee the pre-litigation process, including valuation and maximizing claim value. Conduct settlement negotiations and manage recovery disbursements. Advocate in all jurisdictions across the Commonwealth. Lead depositions, focus groups, hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences. Maintain exemplary client relationships and mentor junior attorneys and peers. Requirements Active license to practice law in Virginia. Demonstrated experience in personal injury law, including trial successes and claim negotiations. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Active Virginia State Bar membership. Skills Exceptional attention to detail and superb organizational abilities.
