Vice President Operations

Are you an Ops pro living in the Baltimore Metro? We are searching for a VP of Operations for a growing group in northern Baltimore County. This VP of Ops will oversee 6 individuals & 120 indirect reports. If you enjoy streamlining / process improvement - delivering on expectations, we want to chat with you. The basics: Lead end-to-end operations for warehousing, fulfillment, inventory management, order accuracy, on-time delivery, service levels, cost performance, and operational excellence. Optimize distribution and supply chain performance by driving continuous improvement in processes, facility layout, labor planning, inventory optimization, demand planning, automation, and network efficiency. Advance operational systems and analytics by leading ERP and WMS initiatives, leveraging data-driven insights, and establishing KPI reporting to improve productivity, inventory turns, order accuracy, safety, and overall business performance. Drive operational integration and strategic initiatives by supporting standardization, identifying cost and efficiency opportunities Ensure a safe, compliant, and customer-focused operation by championing health, safety, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional collaboration Build and develop a high-performing operations organization by serving as a visible, hands-on leader who fosters trust, accountability, engagement, and talent development The Requirements: Distribution & Fulfillment Leadership: Has directly led a multi-site / multi-DC distribution network of relevant scale, with a strong command of distribution cost levers (picking, packing, labeling) and the flow of product from supplier to DC to customer. Inventory & Supplier Management: Skilled in inventory management, demand planning, and supplier coordination to deliver service-level reliability while improving working capital and cost. Systems Experience: Experience supporting ERP implementation and leading or supporting WMS implementation and adoption. Track record of building and using dashboards to manage performance. Continuous Improvement: Demonstrated use of Lean / continuous-improvement methods to drive measurable gains in productivity, quality, and safety. Integration & Growth: Has contributed to operational integration and standardization efforts, ideally in a multi-site or acquisitive setting, and is comfortable supporting M&A integration. Private Equity Readiness: Experience with, or readiness for, a fast-paced PE-backed environment Education: Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in business, supply chain, operations, engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
