Responsible for operating power industrial truck to transport material within the facility. The role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, forklifts, and computers. This is a 2nd Shift position. M-F 3:45pm-12:15am Pay: $21.00 per hour, plus $1.00 shift differentialResponsibilities:Performs quality checks on outbound and inbound shipments.Moves, stacks, and stages product and materials using a forklift or other power equipment.Performs outbound staging and packing in accordance with site policies.Executes ERP system transactions on outbound and inbound shipments.Learns to use handheld RF scanners and Warehouse Management SystemMaintains inventory accuracy.Handles and controls hazardous material on both inbound and outbound.Complies with 5S safety, housekeeping practices, and regulationsCompletes all required safety training and follows protocol in all risk situations.Uses Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) appropriate to tasks at hand.Certification on powered industrial trucks sit down, dock stocker and powered pallet jacks.Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to forklift operation.Capable of standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods.Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry items up to 40 pounds.Performs activities to evaluate and maintain equipment.Performs other duties as assigned.Minimum RequirementsExperience with RF equipment for transporting, receiving and loading functionsPreferred RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED <1 year Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse setting or similar environmentPossess Full knowledge of all function within own area.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Certification in operating various type of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, pallet jacks) is a plus.Work for a company that cares, offers a growth environment, and a culture of respect, inclusion and recognition – our front-line workers have an average 7-year tenure!Healthcare, Dental & Vision, Tuition Reimbursement401k with Company MatchQuarterly Cash Incentive OpportunityAccrue 20 Days a year of PTO2 Floating Holidays and Paid Volunteer Time OffAnnual Shoe Allowance and free Company ApparelEqual Opportunity Employer:Zebra is an equal opportunity employer.
