Part-Time Service Advisor / Writer

Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part‑Time Service Advisor/Writer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for the automotive industry. We are looking for an individual who is seeking a long‑term career, not just a job. Primary responsibilities include inventory management and parts processing, along with customer service duties such as advising customers and presenting recommended services. This position is expected to become full‑time within 6–12 months as our business continues to grow. Primary location will be in Port Matilda. Responsibilities Primary Focus Primary Focus: Inventory management, parts return tracking, data entry, and organization of paperwork. In addition to future duties: Greet customers in person and over the phone, providing a professional and friendly experience. Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues. Prepare repair orders and estimates. Clearly communicate recommended services and repairs. Coordinate with technicians to ensure efficient workflow. Keep customers updated on repair status. Handle phone calls, scheduling, and follow‑ups. Maintain organized and accurate records. Travel between our two locations (Mill Hall and Port Matilda) as needed. Take on additional responsibilities as training and experience expand. Qualifications Previous automotive service advisor or related experience preferred. Strong sales, customer service, and communication skills. Knowledge of auto parts and basic automotive repair. Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. Computer proficiency (experience with shop management software is a plus). Professional attitude with a team‑oriented mindset.
