About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to join its team. The CISO will be a key technology leader, responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive information security program. This role demands a strategic executive with a proven track record in leading information security, ideally within a healthcare or regulated industry. The successful candidate will be tasked with elevating the security program, fostering a culture of security, and enhancing educational initiatives. Additionally, the CISO will play a crucial role in risk mitigation and ensuring that the security strategy aligns with the organization's goals, particularly in the context of clinical operations and digital transformation initiatives. The ideal CISO for the company will be a collaborative and forward-thinking individual, capable of engaging and influencing a diverse group of stakeholders. This includes partnering with senior leaders across the organization and establishing relationships with staff at all levels. The role requires a politically savvy, visible, and collaborative leader with excellent communication skills, who can effectively interact to facilitate the exchange of information security updates and trends. Responsibilities also include defining and executing the enterprise cybersecurity strategy, maintaining the information security governance framework, and providing guidance on security and privacy issues, risks, and mitigation strategies. The CISO will be a highly service-oriented and recognized partner, working closely with privacy, legal, compliance, business, and clinical operations to ensure the security program is in line with the company's mission and values.
