Senior Fund Accountant

Our client is an asset management firm. They seek a Senior Fund Accountant to join their Manhattan, NY office.ResponsibilitiesManage accounting and administration for a portfolio of separately managed investment vehiclesReconcile investment transactions, cash activity, and portfolio positions across multiple systemsCollaborate with internal teams, brokers, custodians, and service providers to resolve transaction discrepanciesReview month-end net asset value reporting prepared by third-party administratorsCalculate management fees, incentive allocations, and other investment-related fee structuresCompile year-end financial statements and tax support schedulesSupport external audits by coordinating with auditors and third-party service providersStrengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and operational procedures to improve efficiencyContribute to new product launches, system implementations, and finance transformation initiativesRequirements5+ years of hedge fund accounting experiencePrivate experience preferredExperience with separately managed accounts (SMAs), investment portfolios, or alternative investment structures preferredKnowledge of investment transactions, net asset value (NAV) reconciliations, and portfolio accountingStrong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detailCPA is a plusJob ID # 48415Tagged as: Hybrid Remote/OfficeDate Posted:Posted on July 7, 2026Location:New York, NY 10011, USAJob Title:Senior Fund AccountantSalary:$120,000 - $135,000
