CNC Machinist

Dubose National Energy is seeking a CNC Machinist for their Middleburg Heights, OH location. Candidates without relevant machining experience will not be considered.

Function in the Job:

Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Job Function:

-Program, Setup and Operate CNC Vertical and Horizontal machining centers utilizing G-Code programing.

-Program, Setup and Operate CNC Turning centers utilizing G-code programing.

-Select proper tooling to machine components as needed.

-Read and understand machining prints

-Identify worn tooling in order to replace or adjust offsets.

-Machine components to customer supplied prints and tolerances.

-Utilize measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers etc. to check machined components.

-Machine components to better than +/-.002 tolerances.

Required Skills:

-Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC programming and machining.

-Proven ability to Program at the machine utilizing G-Code Programing.

-Proven ability to measure parts with common metrology equipment.

-Ability to follow direction to achieve shop goals.

-Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to take ownership.

-Available to work overtime if needed.

Considered a Plus:

-Working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Tolerancing).
