Job Title: CNC Lathe Machinist

Hours: 1st Shift 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday. Occasionally, overtime is available on Saturdays from 6AM-11AM

Pay: $40-$45

Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC lathe machines.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced setup operations and adjust programming for numerically controlled machine tools.
• Work from blueprints and samples to install and adjust tooling and fixtures in lathe machines.
• Calculate and write programs for CNC lathes to fabricate component parts.
• Perform secondary machining operations on component parts as required.
• Insert computer programs into CNC lathe, set and adjust machine speeds and feeds, and modify programs as needed.
• Operate and monitor CNC lathe to perform progressive turning, boring, and drilling operations.
• Fabricate simple holding fixtures as required for machining operations.

Essential Skills

• 7+ years of CNC Lathe machining experience or 10 years of machining experience.
• Proficiency in the use of cutting tools and measuring equipment.
• Ability to read and understand blueprint drawings, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T).
• Experience with CNC Programming, specifically G code.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of advanced one-touch programming functions.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Conshohocken, PA.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Conshohocken,PA.
