Production Manager# Production ManagerROSENBERG, TX 77471; ROSENBERG, TX 77471## Description**Position Summary**The Production Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective production. This role leads production teams, ensures compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and drives continuous improvement in a chemical manufacturing environment.**Core Responsibilities:****Production & Operations*** Plan, schedule, and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly production activities* Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery deadlines are met* Coordinate with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams* Monitor KPIs**Safety, Health & Environmental (HSE)*** Enforce all plant safety policies, OSHA regulations, and environmental requirements* Promote a strong safety culture and conduct regular safety meetings and audits**Team Leadership & Development*** Supervise and develop supervisors, operators, and production staff* Support training programs for operators and new hires* Coordinate staffing assignments**Quality & Compliance*** Ensure products meet internal quality standards and customer specifications* Work with Quality and R&D on process improvements and product changes* Support audits (internal, customer, and regulatory)**Continuous Improvement & Cost Control*** Identify and implement process improvements (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar)* Drive cost reduction initiatives related to labor and materials,* Support capital projects and new equipment startupsParticipate in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions## Qualifications**Required Qualifications*** Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field* 4+ years of experience in manufacturing* 2+ years in a supervisory or management role* Experience leading hourly and salaried employees* Experience in chemical processing, powders, liquids, or batch/continuous operations**Skills & Competencies*** Strong leadership and communication skills* Data-driven decision making* Problem solving and root cause analysis* Ability to work in a fast-paced, safety-critical environment* Proficiency with production reporting systems and Microsoft Office #J-18808-Ljbffr
