The Human Resources Generalist supports the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department by providing comprehensive support to employees, managers, and applicants. This position coordinates recruiting and interview activities, manages the new hire onboarding process, maintains accurate and confidential employee records, and performs HRIS/ADP data management. The Human Resources Generalist also responds to employment-related inquiries, prepares HR correspondence and documentation, assists with HR projects, audits, reports, and compliance activities, and provides administrative support to ensure HR processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with company policies and applicable employment laws.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Facilitates the interview process for qualified job applicants, including coordinating interview schedules with department managers Works with IT and department managers to ensure all new hires are properly set up in company systems 
• Conducts onboarding process for all new hires 
• Maintain employee files and records in electronic and/or paper format 
• Performs routine ADP data entry tasks such as salary, supervisor, and terminations 
• Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors 
• Manage correspondence, draft letters and documents, and route correspondence 
• Organize, plan, and prepare for meetings including gathering documents and managing meeting logistics 
• Assist with HR-related projects, reports, audits, and administrative activities as needed 
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software 
• Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s ADP Workforce Now HRIS and talent management system 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred 
• 3-5 years of human resources experience, preferably in the recruiting and onboarding process is required 
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS preferred 
• Experience working in a fast-paced or growing organization referred
