Material Handler – B Shift | $18–$18.50/hr

Location: Rochester, NY – Gates Area
Pay: $18–$18.50/hr, based on experience
Type: Long-Term Temp-to-Hire

Reliable transportation is required. This location is NOT accessible by public bus.

Schedule:

• Sunday–Thursday, 12:00 PM–8:30 PM*
• Training: Must be available for 2 weeks on A Shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM.

We’re hiring a dependable Material Handler to support a busy manufacturing facility. This is not a forklift-only position—we’re looking for someone with strong receiving, inventory, and material handling experience who is comfortable with paperwork and computer-based inventory systems.

What You’ll Do

• Receive, verify, and stock incoming materials
• Perform daily cycle counts and inventory checks
• Record material movements, transfers, and adjustments in an ERP system
• Pull and deliver materials to production areas
• Organize and label warehouse inventory
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks
• Complete paperwork and equipment checks
• Maintain a clean and safe work area

What We’re Looking For

• Previous material handling, receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience
• Cycle counting/inventory experience preferred
• Forklift experience preferred; certification can be provided
• Strong attention to detail and basic computer skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Safety-toe shoes required
• Reliable transportation required – no public bus access
• Flexible to work overtime and schedule changes as needed
