Works cooperatively with all members of the care team to support the vision and mission of the organization, deliver excellent customer service and adhere to Lean processes. Supports the teams in meeting financial, clinical, and service goals.Schedule: This position is full-time (40 hours/week). Office is open 7 days per week with shifts between the hours of 7am-7pm. Schedule to be determined by supervisor upon hire.Location: 7061 Grand Montecito, Las Vegas, NV. May be required to travel to other clinics for training and coverage, as needed.Department: Urgent CarePrimary Responsibilities:Provide exceptional service to all customersResponsible to greet patient and check patient in and out. Ensure demographics including insurance information are correct in EPIC and update as necessaryCollect appropriate co-pays and adhere to all policiesSchedule appointments as necessary, verifying correct visit type and primary care providerResponsible for waiting room management cleanliness, communicating pertinent information to patients and ensuring all patients have been assistedWork with back office staff to ensure smooth patient flowResolve service issues and complaints, and defer to appropriate management or clinical personnel when necessaryAssist co-workers and team members with duties when requested, to include but not limited to, floating to other areasYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear directions on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:High School Diploma/GED1+ years of customer service experience1+ years of experience working with computers and computer programsCPR certified OR the ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hirePreferred Qualifications:1+ years of experience in a healthcare setting1+ years of experience with insurance programs and basic managed care principles such as referrals and prior authorizationKnowledge/understanding of CPT/ICD-10 codingSoft Skills:Excellent communication skills and phone etiquettePay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $29.00 per hour based on full-time employment.
