Quality Control Supervisor - Edwards AFB Job Category : Quality and Compliance Requisition Number : QUALI003652 Full-Time On-site Locations Showing 1 location PCSI is looking for a Quality Control Supervisor on our upcoming Materiel Management Operations contract on Edwards Air Force Base. The Quality Control Supervisor oversees site-specific quality control programs, inspections, audits, and corrective action processes to ensure compliance with contract requirements and ISO 9001 standards. This role works closely with operations leaders to promote consistent quality execution, inspection readiness, and continuous improvement across all assigned areas. This position reports to the Corporate Quality Control Manager and works on‑base at Edwards AFB. Typical hours are a Monday-Friday day shift. Benefits Include Base pay of $75,000-$85,000 depending upon experience. Annual bonus of up to 6%. 21 days of PTO per year, in addition to all federal holidays. What You’ll Do as Quality Control Supervisor Quality Management & Compliance Manage and maintain and promote awareness of the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with PWS requirements, corporate quality directives and the ISO 9001 standard, including inspection systems, defect prevention methods, and records management. Develop, implement and monitor PCSI’s site-specific quality control program, validate operational controls are in place for all requirements and that quality control inspections and/or audits are performed in accordance with the site-specific Quality Control Plan (QCP). Manage Internal Control Toolset (MICT) checklists and ensure inspection readiness across all MMO functional areas. Maintain quality records, inspection correspondence, and audit documentation to support Government review and CPARS evaluations. Inspections, Audits & Assessment Conduct and oversee monthly 100% self assessments and ensure findings are documented, tracked, and filed in the electronic records management system. Coordinate and support internal and external inspections, audits, staff visits, and Commander’s Inspection Program (CCIP) activities. Track, respond to, and close Corrective Action Reports (CARs) within required timelines. Operational Support & Cross-Functional Coordination Collaborate with and assist PCSI operations in standardizing and implementing operational controls e.g., procedures/work instructions, checklists, training plans, etc. Coordinate closely with the Contract Manager, Asset Manager, and functional leads to ensure consistent quality execution across shifts and locations. Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, and quality systems, including compliance with contract requirements and quality standards. Experience supervising employees, including coaching, skill development, and conflict resolution. Preferred Qualifications Some college or an associate degree. Military warehouse experience. Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) or other government contracts. Experience using DoD or government inventory management systems. Experience working in environments that include individuals with disabilities. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requires knowledge of PC functions and software, including Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and related applications. Knowledge of root cause analysis, dataanalysisand preventive/corrective action. Advanced written and oral communication skills. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Ability to be a self‑starter and have strong time management skills. Ability to work well under pressure, multi‑taskand handle multiple priorities. Ability and willingness to exert disciplinary action as needed as well as delegate authority. Ability to work both with minimal supervision and as a team player. Other Requirements Ability to pass criminal, financial, drug, and driving screening. Ability to workoutside in inclement weather as needed and be exposed to various dirt, debris, and odors. Ability to work any time or day of the week, including weekends and holidays. Ability to travel up to 25% locally. Ability to be insured as an authorized driver for the Company. Possess a valid driver’s license and maintain good driving record. If required, ability to obtain and maintain security clearance and base access to assigned site(s).
